Portrait from Life Workshop
Today I finished my Portrait from life Workshop with Martinho Correia hosted by Lalita Hamill at Hamill Studios, it was great! Below is a gallery showing the steps it took to get to the finished painting, starting with the model and my drawings, then transferring the drawing to canvas, dead painting, first and second painting. I am pleased with my result, it was an awesome workshop! 16″ x 20″, Oil.

Under painting excercise
Today was oil painting prep for the Portrait from Life Workshop coming up. We were practicing under painting and composition measurements, this one using a little porcelain bust. I kind of like this one, so I kept it. I am really excited for the workshop!
